What the site does not collect

You can read every page without telling the site who you are. There is no login, no comment box and no form that stores what you type. The site does not run an advertising network, and no analytics service is set up on it. It does not build a profile of you.

What stays in your browser

Some links into the site carry a short note about which tracking tag to use on Amazon links. When that happens, the site keeps the note in your browser's session storage for the rest of the visit. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab. It holds no personal information.

Hosting and server logs

The site is served through Cloudflare. Like any hosting provider, Cloudflare processes technical data to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. That processing is covered by Cloudflare's own privacy policy. The site does not use this data to identify visitors.

Amazon links and product photos

Product links on this site go to Amazon and are affiliate links, explained on the disclosure page. Once you follow one, you are on Amazon, and Amazon may set its own cookies and collect data under its own privacy notice. The site doesn't control or see what Amazon collects. Product photos are loaded from Amazon's servers, so your browser asks Amazon for each photo shown on a page.

Children's privacy

Many pages are about toys and games for kids, but the site is a buying guide written for the adults who shop for them. It is not directed at children under 13, and it does not collect personal information from anyone, children included. If you believe a child has sent personal information through a message to the editors, write through the contact page and it will be deleted.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date in the introduction and the page's update date change with it. Questions about privacy can be sent through the contact page.
