Affiliate Disclosure
As an Amazon Associate, Weekend Hobbyist earns from qualifying purchases. Weekend Hobbyist is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program that lets sites earn fees by linking to Amazon.
What this means for you
The Check price buttons and other product links on this site go to Amazon. If you follow one and buy a qualifying item, Amazon may pay Weekend Hobbyist a commission. You pay the same price you would pay without the link. The commission comes out of Amazon's side of the sale, not yours.
You don't have to use the links. Every product is named by brand and model, so you can look it up any way you like.
How the links are marked
Links to Amazon carry a tracking tag that tells Amazon the visit came from this site. They are marked as sponsored links in the page code, and they open in a new tab, so the page you were reading stays where you left it. A short disclosure line also sits next to the first Check price button on each page with products, and in the footer of every page.
Whether a product earns a commission is not part of any selection rule. The rule that builds each list is printed on the page, and you can check it against the specs and age labels in the table.
Why there are no prices
Prices on Amazon change often, sometimes several times a week, and more often in gift season. A number printed here would be out of date before long, so the site doesn't show one. The Check price button opens the Amazon product page, which shows the current price and whether the item can ship to your address. For price and stock, the Amazon page has the final word.
